ACE Athlete daily challenge!
Just because school has had to be closed for most of us doesn’t mean we stop being ACE Athletes! Your daily challenge is to join in with The Body Coach live every day at 9am. This includes our lovely parents too!
Undefeated at the Emerald
On Friday, 11 of our lucky Year 5 children headed to the Emerald Stadium for the Super League media launch day.
Our ACE athletes represented school in a tag rugby event against multiple other schools from around the city.
Through team work and communication, we managed to go undefeated on the Leeds Rhinos’ home ground!
Strong second half ends in 2-2 draw with Shadwell
Our ACE football team came back, heroically, from a quick 2-0 deficit to draw 2-2 this evening.
A strong second half performance, and goals from Kenzie and Ibrahim, sparked an impressive comeback that ended in the two schools sharing the points.
Duathlon Champions!
This afternoon 6 children from Year 5 formed a team to compete in a duathlon at the Brownlee Centre.
Our ACE team finished in first place by 1 second and took first, third and forth individually.
“We are in shock because we won and 3 of us came in the first 4.” – Michael
“I was the first person across the line.” – Ben
“I was proud of myself and the team for coming in first place.” – Helen
Huge well done to all our athletes.
ACE are GOLD!
It is with absolute pleasure that I announce Allerton CE Primary School has achieved GOLD in the Active Schools School Games Mark.
It has been a very busy year and I am incredibly proud of the commitment and effort from all the children this year.

The Opening of the NEW Emerald Headingley Stadium!
It was an absolute pleasure to send some of our Year 4 and Year 5 children to the community opening of the Emerald Headingley Stadium to attend a mass training session hosted by the Leeds Rhinos.
Thank you so much to the Leeds Rhinos Foundation for such a fantastic opportunity!
Multiskills event @ Leeds Beckett University
Last week some of our Key Stage 2 children were lucky enough to go to Leeds Beckett University to take part in a variety of sports taught by specialist coaches. The children made the most of such a fantastic opportunity, taking part in squash, american football, tennis, basketball and athletics events, to name a few.
Huge well done to all the children involved!
