On Wednesday 5th February, Year 5 student Ben represented ACE at the Leeds Cross Country Finals held at Temple Newsam. Ben qualified for the finals after an impressive performance in the North East Leeds Cross Country rounds, where he placed 7th out of 100 competitors in the Year 6 Boys’ race, completing a demanding 1,900m course.

Wednesday’s final presented an even greater challenge, with Ben competing against the strongest runners from across Leeds. Rising to the occasion, he delivered another outstanding performance, finishing 19th out of 100 runners. This result places Ben in contention for qualification to the West Yorkshire Finals, and we are currently awaiting confirmation.

This is a remarkable achievement, and we are incredibly proud of Ben for representing ACE with such determination and excellence.
