Another trophy to add to the collection!

Children in U8s and U9s football teams
went to a tournament organised by Leeds United for Primary Schools in
Leeds, on Monday, March 3rd.

We had a wonderful and very exciting day.

The U9s team fought their way to the semi finals after doing well in the group stages. Unfortunately, they lost to Clapgate 1-2.

The U8s put on a blistering performance from the first whistle, and proved to be unstoppable.

In the group stages our road to become champions commenced as follows:
ACE v Middleton Primary
4-0 to ACE
Lane End Primary v ACE
2-3 to ACE
ACE v Westwood
5-0 to ACE
St Phillips v ACE
1-3 to ACE
ACE v Clapgate
5-0 to ACE
Semi finals
ACE v St Phillips
5-0 to
ACE

Final
Lane End v ACE
4-2 to ACE

We are LUFC Primary School Champions! Everyone was amazing but special
shout outs to Josiah and Ali 12 and 7 goals.

Josiah was also asked by the LUFC coaching staff to play for their squad tomorrow, so exciting!

All school staff and children are so proud and we have a very large trophy too.

Many thanks to Ben Whelan from BPA first team , for managing the U9s team.
