On Tuesday, the U9s team played Immaculate Heart of Mary, at their school. 

It was a very narrow and small pitch and ACE struggled with it being used to
lots of space. In the first half Immaculate Heart scored first , followed by the second goal.

ACE continued to pressure. As Josiah’s foot struck the ball from a corner it curved and in a blink of an eye it was in the net. It was a spectacular goal and even Immaculate Hearts parents responded with claps and cheers.

Unfortunately, we could not score again despite strong efforts and Immaculate Heart hit the back of the net.

It was our first loss in 7 months , but we are ready to fight back next week.

Josiah, William, Gryff and Matthew played really well. Matthew was voted man of the match by the opposition.
